Still Life with Stone vol. 4

This is the fourth volume in our series “Still Life with Stone”, where we look at how to create beautiful interiors that are worthy of works of art using stone.

Sunday Morning with Giallo Veneziano

Giallo Veneziano granite from Brazil (worktop) and Moleanos Limestone from Portugal (back)

Coffee and croissants on a granite countertop – the traditional start to a family Sunday. The Giallo Veneziano granite is from Brazil, despite the Venetian name. The stone worktop tones with the stone chimney breast and flooring have been there for generations and will be for many more — a beautiful backdrop to family life.

Homage to Giorgio Morandi on Moleanos

Moleanos limestone from Portugal (worktop) and Airy Concrete Quartz by Cosentino (back)

Giorgio Morandi was an Italian artist known for his paintings' tonal subtlety, which concentrated on objects such as vases, bottles, and bowls. We draw inspiration from his work to create a kitchen worktop where much-loved things take pride of place alongside vegetables destined for the cookpot.

Moleanos limestone and Caesarstone Airy Concrete quartz provide the backdrop to the still life and are perfect for a cool-coloured, calming kitchen.

Though the Rose-Tinted Glass with Rosa Tea

Rosa Tea marble from Turkey (worktop) and Rosa Extremoz marble from Portugal (back)

The sun is setting over the Greek island of Rhodes, casting long shadows through the window onto a table made of Rosa Tea marble.

Curly radicchio rosso, borlotto beans, and pomegranate left on the table perfectly match the warm pink glow in this beautiful rosy palette.

A gorgeous setting for an evening with friends chatting around the table over snacks and a bottle of wine.

Spa days with Statuarietto and Chateau Vert

Chateau Vert marble (worktop) and Statuarietto marble from Italy (splash back)

Recreate a beautiful marble spa in your own home. Use Chateau Vert and Statuarietto marble vanities with the same materials on walls and floors for a vintage look and feel of elegance. Add candles, plants, soaps and incense and relax in total luxury.

What else do you need?
