stone basins

An easy way to add a touch of elegance to your bathroom or shower room is to use a natural stone basin. We can carve basins into slabs in the material of your choice to create a built in basin in a vanity top.

We also supply a number of standard-sized round basins in travertines, limestones and marbles to sit on a counter top, as cutting these from a stone block can be expensive due to the work involved and the amount of wastage.

which stone can I use for a basin?

Marble, limestone, travertine are all suitable for use in bathrooms as the lack of exposure to substances likely to etch or stain the stone means that a wider choice of stones can be used than in kitchens.

The choice is very much down to you, your bathroom decor, whether you are using the basin as a stand-alone feature, or combining it with stone cladding and/or tiles.

Basins and vanity tops can be made in the same stone allowing you to co-ordinate the whole of the wet room.
